"OKAND has given me an opportunity to network with dietitians and nutrition professionals across the state and country. I first became an OKAND member as an undergraduate nutrition student. As a student, I really felt the impact of the organization when I met Oklahoma dietitians at the annual advocacy summit in Washington DC. These relationships helped guide my career as a dietitian and later led to two unique job opportunities (in which both companies I am still employed today).

As a dietitian, I have taken on several leadership roles with OKAND and have continued to grow professionally and make everlasting friendships.
